How Dog Food is Made
How dog food is made
1. RAW MATERIALS COMMINUTION: Raw materials are mainly divided into two categories, starch and fat, starch is mainly a variety of cereals, its comminution can be achieved by ordinary mill, it only needs to ensure the fineness and the raw material is clean and sanitary during the crushing process. The fatty materials are mainly bone and meat. Large bone crushing takes two steps. First, the large bone is crushed into small particles by an osteoclasts, and then it is crushed into pieces or mud by colloid mill, the meat only needs to use the colloid mill to be the meat puree or the powder, adds in the cereal material powder to stir evenly then.
2. Raw Material Mixing: Mixing Equipment Two functions, one is a variety of raw material mixing evenly, the other is to adjust moisture.
3. The raw material is extruded and ripened: under high temperature and high pressure, the twin-screw extruder is extruded and shaped to produce different dog food and cat food pellets by changing different moulds. According to the different raw material ratio and humidity, it is necessary to adjust the different zone temperature, screw speed and feeding speed to ensure the high quality of dog food particles.
4. Dog Food Pellet drying: Dog Food in Stainless Steel Mesh Belt Walk, from one end of the oven into the material, the other end of the material, in this transportation process, electric heating pipe resistance wire heating temperature will dry the particles moisture, drying role: one is to extend the shelf life, the second is to enhance the particle adsorption performance, convenient behind the spray flavoring process.
5. Dog Food Pellet surface spray: Dog Food Pellet surface spray grease and seasoning, enhance the taste and appearance, but also played a part of the dog food pellet cooling role.
6. Cooling down of pet dog food particles: it is not enough to rely solely on the cooling in the process of surface spraying, so it is necessary to use special air-cooled cooling equipment to reduce the temperature of dog food particles to around room temperature.
